SCHOOL VISITS

For me, there’s only one thing better than writing for children.

Sharing the magic of stories with them!

I’ve had the joy of presenting at schools, libraries, and conferences across Hong Kong and around the world — from Singapore to Dubai to virtual classrooms in Texas. Whether I’m speaking to a single class or a packed auditorium, I bring warmth, energy, and a deep belief in the power of stories to connect, heal, and inspire. I offer the full spectrum of storytelling experiences — from playful, laughter-filled sessions that spark imagination, to thoughtful, heartfelt conversations about difficult but important topics like migration, loss, identity, and resilience. I meet children exactly where they are — whether they’re giggling over nonsense rhymes or quietly reflecting on what it means to leave a home behind.

I’m also deeply committed to supporting educators. I lead professional development workshops on: Diversity and inclusion in the classroom, using literature to cultivate empathy and global citizenship, team-building through storytelling, and bringing history and social-emotional learning to life through books. And I’m happy to tailor my visit to your school’s needs — whether that’s a full-week author residency, engaging every year group with age-appropriate talks and creative workshops, or a single assembly or classroom session. A special event for International Women’s Day, Diversity Week, or World Book Day, A CPD day for staff.

I’m completely flexible — I can dive deep with your entire school community, or deliver a powerful one-off session. Every visit is custom-designed to resonate with your students, align with your curriculum, and reflect your values. No matter the format, my mission stays the same: To help children fall in love with stories. To help them see themselves — and each other — in books. To remind them that their voices matter.

📩 I’m now booking visits for the 2025–2026 school year. Whether you’re planning a whole-school celebration or a quiet classroom moment, I’d be honoured to be part of it.

Let’s bring stories — and hearts — together.
